ESPN showed this behavior earlier in the year, maybe when they played the Holes? FSU lineman are coached to not move if the defense is offside to accentuate this to the refs. They must have though this was the case but then 4 of 5 decided they better play.
Looks like an Amato-era OL play...
When Rick Trickett, FSU's o-line coach, was at WVU we had a play where the o-line would stay in their stance after the ball was snapped. While the defense was trying to figure out what was going on, Pat White or Steve Slaton was halfway down the field. And as mentioned above, they have been coached to stay in their stance on an offsides. That guy just took it to the extreme, can't say he didn't do what coach told him to do.
^Maybe he got pissed at the coach and this was his smart-arse response... If so, kudos, my good man...
