Philip has a huge game today. Huge. This is the sort of game he must find a way to drag his team to a win in order to raise his status in NFL history.
My late game is NE/Jets. So I guess that I get to choose between listening to the game over the internet (the Chargers color guy is horrible) or go to BWW to watch the game (probably without any sound at all).
As a Bronco fan, I can assure you that not much dragging will be necessary. The patently awful Chris Simms will play QB for Denver, and the inexplicable early season run has come to a screeching halt. San Diego should win by at least 2 TDs, if they are so much as a decent team.
Of course, Norv Turner is still their head coach...
I'm not sure if Norv Turner is the cause of the recent issues with the Chargers or if it's just the combined effect of small bits of bad luck given all the NC State fans now pulling for the Chargers. We seem to bungle everything else we pull for pretty well.
Rivers is off to a great start today, halfway through the first quarter the Chargers are up 10-0 with Philip throwing 9-10, 77 yds, and 1 td.
Philip is currently 14 of 17 for 111 and a TD in the 3rd
